Installation time varies depending on the type of locs, the size and the length of your hair. Micro-locs installations typically take 4 to 6 hours. Soft locs and butterfly locs take 3 to 4 hours. Starter locs take 2 to 4 hours depending on hair length. Your exact duration will be confirmed during your consultation.

How often should I get my locs retied?

For micro-locs we recommend a retie every 4 to 6 weeks. For medium and dread locs every 6 to 8 weeks is typical. The exact frequency depends on how fast your hair grows and how tight you like your locs to look. Your loctician will advise you on the right schedule after your installation.

Can you install locs on any hair type?
